Delete your account and data

This page is publicly accessible without signing in. You can delete your Viajaro account and all associated data at any time, either from inside the app or by contacting us directly if you no longer have access to it.
Delete your account from inside the app
- Open the app and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the Danger zone section.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm by typing the keyword you’re asked for.
Your deletion request is processed immediately and your data is scheduled for permanent removal as described below.
Request deletion without access to the app
If you no longer have access to the app or your account, email us at support@viajaro.app from the address associated with your account, with the subject line “Delete account.” To verify your identity, we may ask you to confirm details associated with your account, such as your registered email or full name. We’ll process your request within 30 days.
What gets deleted, and when
When your account is deleted — from the app or by request — the following is moved to a trash bin and automatically and permanently purged within 30 days:
- Your account profile (name, email, login credentials).
- Your trips and AI-generated itineraries.
- Your bookings (flights, lodging, car rentals, tours, restaurants, tickets, transport).
- Documents in your document vault (passports, visas, and other scanned travel documents).
- Your expense records and splits.
- Your push notification token.
If you’re a collaborator on a trip owned by another user, deleting your account removes your participation and any content you personally added, but doesn’t delete the trip itself or content owned by other participants. Viajaro currently doesn’t charge for the Service, so we don’t retain billing records after deletion.
